Fruita girls basketball team falls to Monarch

BOULDER, Colo. (KKCO) -- The Fruita Monument girls basketball team dropped it's second straight, 71-39 to the Monarch Coyotes in Boulder on Saturday afternoon.

Taylor Johnson led the way for the Wildcats (1-2) with 15 points.

Fruita will host the 'Fruita Wildcat Invitational' Thursday (December 10th) through Saturday (December 12th). Their opening round game is against Columbine.
