Tigers double up Panthers in league opener

CORTEZ, Colo. - (KKCO) The Grand Junction Tigers doubled the output of the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers in their Southwestern League opener on Friday night in a 66-33 win.

Tommy Powers and Jesse Smith both scored a team high 13 points for the Tigers (8-4) in the win.

Grand Junction will remain on the road on Saturday afternoon for a SWL matchup against the Durango Demons.
