Palisade boys cruise past Moffat County

PALISADE, Colo. (KKCO) -- Nate Yanez scored 10 points in the first quarter to fuel a fiery start as Palisade (5-6, 2-1) routed Moffat County (3-9, 1-2) 68-39 at Palisade High School on Saturday night.

Dakota Bond and Jeremy Hayden also contributed with a pair of buckets each in the first quarter as the Bulldogs led 19-10 at the end of the period.

The Bulldogs are back in action Saturday evening against Steamboat Springs. The game will be played at Grand Junction High School because of a scheduling conflict. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
