Palisade girls lose heartbreaker to Steamboat

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Nicole Routhier led the Bulldogs with 14 points, but it wasn't enough as Palisade fell to Steamboat Springs 45-44 at Grand Junction High School on Saturday evening.

Palisade (1-10) was seconds away from back-to-back wins but the Sailors were able to rally for the win.

Meghan Peters added 13 points for the Bulldogs. Palisade's next game is against Eagle Valley on Friday.

The game was played at GJHS as a result of a scheduling conflict.
