GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - (KKCO) After heavy amounts of snowfall have touched down in the four corners region of Colorado the Montezuma-Cortez and Durango boys and girls basketball teams have had to cancel their games in the Grand Valley.

Both Durango and Cortez were scheduled to play games against Fruita Monument and Central high schools on Friday and Saturday.

The Friday night games between Montezuma-Cortez and Central, and between Durango and Fruita Monument have been cancelled. The Saturday games between Central and Durango have also been cancelled.

But the game scheduled between Fruita Monument and Montezuma-Cortez on Saturday could still happen. The official ruling on that game will not be made until sometime on Friday afternoon.
