CEDAREDGE, Colo. (KKCO) - Though the Cedaredge Bruins got off to a rough start, they came back full throttle in their first playoff game.
The Centauri Falcons were the first to put up a score, taking the 6-0 lead, but in the second quarter the Bruins went up by two after a touchdown and a 2-point conversion.
From there, the Bruins never looked back and never gave up the lead. They were up 14-6 at halftime, and poured in the touchdowns in the last two quarters.
They defeated the Falcons 55-14 and will move on to the quarterfinals next Saturday against Monte Vista.
