Cedaredge making history with 1A playoff run
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- President Clinton was still in office when the Cedaredge Bruins last won a playoff game.
The year was 1998. Since then, the Bruins have only made the playoffs twice.
The year 2012 is a different story. Cedaredge won a the WSL title for Class 1A and they routed their first round opponent in the playoffs last week, 55-14.
This week, third seeded Cedaredge hosts sixth seeded Monte Vista. Both teams are 9-1 on the year.
This quarterfinal match-up kicks off at 1pm on Saturday.
