GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Central Warriors say that confidence is the key to winning their first game of the season.

This week the Warriors are clear underdogs against the defending league champs, the Grand Junction Tigers.

However, the Tigers haven't had as fruitful of a season as they had planned.

Grand Junction dropped a 41-21 game to Montrose last Friday, which came just three weeks after Junction lost a 20-14 game to Fruita Monument.

Heading into the final week of play for Class 5A teams, the Tigers know they need a win to secure their spot in the 5A playoffs.
