GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Grand Junction Tigers football team is about to tackle a new season.

Looking back a couple years, they finished with one of their more dominant seasons, going 11-0 before falling in the quarterfinal playoff game against Lakewood.

Coming back in 2012, they felt the transition of growing pains and fell out of the running after the first round of the playoffs.

This year the Tigers are ready to come out full throttle. The team has a good chunk of returning players including nearly all of their skill guys.

Their main building point will come on the line - a place where they suffered the most loss due to graduation - but this year's seniors are ready to step up and lead the pack.
