GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The game was touch-and-go from the beginning, but the Grand Junction Tigers found their bats late to put away Doherty 16-6.

Doherty took a 3 run lead early, but the Tigers were able to hang around and head into the 5th inning down 6-4. From there, it was bombs away for the Tigers.

GJ put up 6 runs in both the 5th and 6th innings, finishing off an offensive explosion that lead to an enforcement of the 10-run rule.

Shortstop Owen Taylor lead the offensive surge finishing with 4 hits in 5 at-bats.
