HS Baseball: Palisade take two over Rifle

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - There's some good baseball being played right now in the Grand Valley, and no more so than the Palisade Bulldogs. Coming off a 8-2 win over Grand Junction, the Bulldogs came into today's double header as the 6th ranked team in 4A.

Game one was all about Tass Crow. Crow not only pitched a complete game 2 hit shutout, but he also drove in a run with a single. Palisade won the game 3-0.

Rifle came out hot game 2, taking a 3-0 lead early. But Palisade battled back and Caden Woods 2-run double in the sixth sealed their 9-4 victory.

Montrose high school, the number one team in 4A, lost Saturday.
