MONTROSE, Colo. Montrose had a little bit more trouble in their playoff opener against Montbello than they would have cared for, coming away with just a one possession win.
Saturday's quarterfinal game against Denver South was a much different matter, as they jumped out to an early 7-0 lead and piled it on from there.
The game's tone was set when Angelo Youngren took the opening kickoff all the way back to the Rebel's 17 yard line, and finished the drive with a one yard touchdown rush.
Aided by an excellent performance from the offensive, Youngren was again, the star of the game on all sides of the ball, including taking an end-around hand off and throwing a 26 yard touchdown to Irah Wooten, which pretty much put the game out of reach in the third quarter.
The Indians win 47-27, and will face the five seed Pueblo South in Pueblo.
