GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Fruita's volleyball team is a solid group that has posted a pretty impressive record to this point in the season and has once again pushed into the top ten.

It's been two weeks since the Wildcats dropped out of the rankings. Ever since they've been right outside the door knocking, and they finally earned their way back in at number 9 this week.

The girls have posted a 12-2 overall record, but in the Southwestern League they're undefeated. Once again Fruita is the team to beat, and they feel 2013 is their time to shine.

"We've been waiting for this year for so long and we just knew that we could go far," said senior MacKenzie Schuller. "We have so many big goals that we want to achieve, and so far we've achieved them, and I just hope that we keep doing what we're doing."

"We honestly go into every game just saying try out best, do the best that we can because it's our last season," said senior Allisa Hatch. "We're always just do the best that we can on this game, and we just do it game by game."
