GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Palisade Bulldogs gave the home crowd a cheer-worthy performance in their homecoming volleyball match with league-rival Delta.
The Panthers and Bulldogs split the first four sets on Thursday night at the Bulldogs gym.
They were tied at 10-10 in the fifth set when Courtney Clark served up four aces for Palisade. After the Panthers scored one point, Patti Chapman finished the match with at hard spike to the back-court.
The Bulldogs are 4-4 overall, and 1-0 to start league play. The Panthers are 4-3 now with a 1-1 league record.
