Softball: GJ tops Central, Montrose rolls Palisade

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The regular season is winding down for prep softball, and the race for the 5A title in the SWL is going to be down to the wire.

After Tuesday night's action, the Fruita Monument Wildcats and the Grand Junction Tigers are the only undefeated teams in league play.

Grand Junction shut out Central on Tuesday in the first of two meetings this season, 5-0.

Elsewhere, the Montrose Indians rolled over the Palisade Bulldogs, 12-1 in five innings.
