GRAND JUNCTION, Co. (KKCO)-- The third-ranked Polk State Eagles defeated the sixth-ranked Western Nevada Wildcats in Game 3 of Saturday's action with a final score of 10-1.
Polk State's ace, Alec Asher, pitched seven innings and gave up only one run on five hits.
The Wildcats only run was scored by Dillon Ness, who homered in the top of the second inning.
With the win, Polk State will play Monday at 2pm.
