GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The No. 6 Western Nevada Wildcats sent the No. 4 Cisco Wranglers home on Sunday.
Western Nevada wasted no time by scoring 6 runs in the first three innings, five of which were scored in the third inning alone. The Wildcats added three more runs in the top of the ninth to seal the win.
The Wranglers were unable to score until the bottom of the sixth inning when Cody Tillotson had a 2-run homer that trimmed the Wildcats lead to four.
Western Nevada advances in the elimination bracket and will play Monday at 10am against Iowa Western.
