Local hopefuls try out to sing at JUCO, GJ Rockies game

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Some local singers are showing off their vocal range with the National Anthem.

Monday night, organizers from JUCO, the Grand Junction Rockies, and CMU hosted singing tryouts for the upcoming season.

JUCO is looking for 13 singers, CMU needs more than 100, and the Grand Junction Rockies want 38 to sing a traditional version of the Star Spangled Banner.

JUCO will announce it's decision by mid-April. The Rockies and CMU will make their decisions at a later date.

There will be more tryouts this Thursday, March 26 at Canyon View Vineyard Church at 7:00pm.

If you'd like to tryout, be there by 6:45.
