GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - John Klish has been making headlines across the world as a deaf cyclist.

Most recently he competed in the 2013 Deaflympics in Sofia, Bulgaria for a chance to represent the U.S. cycling team, and he didn't disappoint.

Klish was just one of 120 American athletes competing. He raced in the 1,000-meter sprint, the 40K time trial, the road race, and the 50 kilometer points race.

Not only did he bring home two bronze medals, but he took home the gold on the final day of competition.
