DENVER - Since the tragic death of Darrent Williams, the Broncos have been trying to come up with ways to honor his memory.
The Broncos are funding a project that will turn an abandoned building in the Denver suburb of Montbello into a boys and girls club and name it the Darrent Williams Teen Memorial Center.
During his life, Williams spent much of his free time educating teens about staying away from gangs and violence. The boys and girls club offers teens a place to get off the street and spend some time in an active and safe environment.
The Darrent Williams center will focus on music and leadership training as well as teaching youth about managing finances.
