Anchor Jean Reynolds has been with KKCO since the inception of its news programming 12 years ago. She is a graduate of the University of Denver, and prior to coming to KKCO, she was a morning newscaster and radio personality on Denver’s KUVO jazz station, where she has gone from having to get up very early in the morning in Denver to having to stay up late at night here in Grand Junction.
She is proud of the progress that’s been made at KKCO from a start up station to its present position as the leader in news programming in Western Colorado. In the early days of the station, it gained attention from NBC as the fastest growing affiliate in the NBC family. Jean lives in Grand Junction with her husband Rick Wagner, an attorney and former Sheriff’s Captain.
She has a keen interest in the growth of the community and the direction it is taking. She and Rick owned a radio station in Delta until approximately three years ago, and are now involved in the residential construction and development business. Jean serves on several local boards including First Book and CASA as well as other charitable and civic activities.
