When he saw the opening for the main anchor job at 11 News, Glen jumped at the opportunity to join the Western Slope’s number one news team.
Originally from Salt Lake City, he moved here with his family from the frozen tundra of Green Bay, Wisconsin. And no, he is not a Packers fan.
Glen started his broadcasting career as an Anchor/Reporter at KPVI, the NBC affiliate for Southeast Idaho. After three years there, it was off to Green Bay where he worked for a year and a half as an Anchor/Reporter for WGBA, the NBC affiliate for Northeast Wisconsin.
He has a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Utah. That is where his sports loyalty lies. As an avid Utes fan, he keeps a close eye on the U of U basketball and football teams.
Outside of work, Glen has his hands full with his three children. He has twin boys and a little girl. He also enjoys reading about history, politics and business (pretty much in that order), playing sports, fishing and bike riding.
He is happy to have made his home in the Grand Valley and has enjoyed getting involved in the community. If you ever see him out and about, don’t be afraid to say hi. For him, meeting new people is one of the greatest things about his job.
