Bernie returns to the air after working for a number of years as a communications director at an agricultural firm on the Front Range. Bernie brings several years of news experience to KKCO, having begun his news career in Rapid City, South Dakota in 1997.

When not anchoring 11 News Today, Bernie enjoys planning his next trip abroad, as travel is his greatest vice, seeking solace on a beach in Hawaii or in one of the great hidden restaurants in Paris, France.
