Tim joined the 11 News team in August of 2007 as a reporter. He comes to the Grand Valley from the Washington DC area, and although he's lived there most of his life, he's no stranger to Colorado. He was born in Aurora and has been to Colorado Springs countless times to visit family. He graduated with a BA in English and a minor in Media Studies from The University of Virginia. Before coming to Grand Junction, he spent time learning about the biz as in intern at WFTV in Orlando, FL and WCAV in Charlottesville, VA. He's thrilled his hard work paid off, now that he's living his dream being a news reporter. In his spare time, Tim enjoys working out, listening to and playing music, and hanging out with friends. He is a sports junkie and loves watching his beloved Virginia Cavaliers and Dallas Cowboys. He is excited to be in Grand Junction and to discover all the Western Slope has to offer.
