Kyle comes to 11 News and Grand Junction from San Diego, California, where he interned at KNSD. He says it was a unique internship that gave him the opportunity to host and produce the first college sports show in San Diego on NBC 7/39.

Kyle just graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego with a BA in Media Communications. During his time at PLNU he hosted and produced the first Point Loma Sports TV show, served as the play-by-play broadcaster for Point Loma baseball, and anchored sports for our on-campus news program.

His original career goal was to become a play-by-play broadcaster for a professional baseball team, and while that goal still remains the same, he says he can see myself continuing to go down a slightly different path. He says, "As long as I get to talk about sports for a living, I'll be a happy man."

In his free time, Kyle likes to play just about any sport (baseball, football, tennis, volleyball, golf, basketball) but now that he's in Colorado, he says he might need to learn how to ski or snowboard. Kyle says he's a very family-oriented person and would like to start a family of his own some day.
