Witnesses say two kids tossed canteloupes off the 25 Road Bridge onto I-70 overnight.
The first melon hit a semi-truck on the hood.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Department, the driver of the semi pulled over, and as soon as he did, they say another melon was tossed, hitting a second semi truck in the windshield, causing a spiderweb break.
Investigators say the suspects got away. They say if caught, the kids could be charged with anything from criminal mischief to a felony, depending on how much damages were done to the semi.
