And of course there will be no need to complain about the additional burdens placed on the voters to say the least or the confusion as to where to caucus or the votes that will be nullified as a result of that confusion. No problem, you can just register online and if you don’t have internet, your just s** out of luck. No problem, just show up a few minutes early along with the 75% of other disenfranchised Repub voters who didn’t receive the ID card. And I’m sure they’ll have those thousands of people processed and into the caucuses just after the crucial votes have been taken. There’s no reason for a hissy fit; after all, all that hangs in the balance is the integrity of your electoral process, and not even a sorry for the inconvenience statement? There are only two conclusions that can be reached. One is total irrevocable incompetence; that’s the one they want you to choose. The other is; it’s not the people that vote that count, it’s the people that COUNT the votes that count. You’ve been had but why make a big deal of it. It isn’t the first time and it certainly won’t be the last time. But while you’re face down, contemplate this; how important is this caucus to the power elite if they are willing to sacrifice one of their in place people that “count the votes” (to the judgment of incompetence) just for the desired result? How important is it to you? What will you do without freedom?

Before anyone else throws a fit in ignorance over this...You DO NOT need a VIC card to attend the caucus. You can pre-register at the Repub party website, then show up at your caucus location early so you can finish the registration process. You must also bring a photo ID to your caucus location. No one is being denied the right to attend the caucus. I hope this stops the knee-jerk fits folks are throwing over this story.

Let's see, Ray Scott can't run in either district, an attempt to take Laura Bradford out, redistricting to ensure if any TEA Party types do get into caucuses that they will have no voice, and now this maybe to guarantee that TEA party types don't even get in. Who do you suppose will have no trouble at all gaining entry to the caucuses?? Duh.. Maybe we should all go to that street corner protest and let them have Obama and the Dems in control of everything. Don't vote for the encumbent, don't vote for the party anointed candidate, and don't vote for the career politician.

Anonymous, you have correctly identified a mental pigmy (amnchorman) however no doubt that mental pigmy has received his voter ID card. I was just wondering how many of you would be up for a street corner protest near one of the caucus sites? We could designate it (the street corner) as the caucus site for the great unwashed, TEA Party types, and others not considered to be in the inner circle of the Republican ruling elite. I can make the sign and get the news media there. And we could publicly demonstrate our ability to walk and chew gum at the same time. Why is that important? Because in Mesa County that puts you one level ahead of our other voting demographic who currently reside in our many cemeteries. Who knows, some of those past tense voters might even show up. They vote in Mesa County, why shouldn’t they be able to caucus. I just did a poll. The question was; do you think this debacle is a result of incompetence or do you think there’s fraud involved. Nine out of ten responders indicate that they do not believe incompetence was involved. Three responders had no idea what we were talking about and we got one response which reads; “why bother, you know how it’s going to turn out? This is Mesa Cty for Gds sake”.

To Amnchorman, It is hilarious to see sweeping stereotypes made by people who seem to feel that they are superior to the common man and so much more intelligent and knowledgeable than the serf masses. One that also believes in the suppression of others free speech for his own witty comments. But look at where you are, you are a giant among ants. Very interesting. Wonder who didn’t get their ID cards yet? Could it be those Republicans of the TEA Party persuasion? Let’s review; this is Fri and the caucus is Tues. And did I mention that the doors to many precinct caucus sites for the Repubs last year had locked doors? When I inquired with a school janitor at one of those sites why the doors were locked he stated they had a call warning them that some of those TEA Party types might show up. Well…..I guess those TEA Party mob type threats have been handled this year. Imagine the chaos if just anyone was allowed to caucus with the Repub ruling elite? No, that just wouldn’t do at all.

this is very understandable, as they were unaware that a caucus was coming up. They were only notified last week that there would be an upcoming presidential election this year. You really cannot blame them for being ill prepared. No one told them that their job was to run the voting process. Only if someone had reminded them of what their jobs are or that a historic election loomed on the horizon. Additionally, you cannot blame Mesa County for being inept, as we all are fully aware of the ineptitude of Mesa County.
