Illegal immigrants arrested on I-70

EAGLE COUNTY, (Colorado) - According to the Eagle County Sheriff's Office, a deputy pulled over a van near mile marker 157 on Sunday, after it failed to move to the left lane while passing another deputy who was stopped next to the Interstate.

Authorities said they discovered 9 men, 3 women, and a child inside the van. They said not one of the travelers could provide proper identification.

Driver Alejandro Espinoza-Rodrigues was arrested on charges including human smuggling.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold prevents the 24 year old from posting bond.

Investigators said the 13 passengers are in custody, and some of them had previously been deported.

I am glad to see that our cities and our state are starting to beef up the illegal immigration control here in Colorado .I think it is about time that they start beefing up that law right here in our own state. As far as I am concerned they need to start making more routine traffic stops along all ouf our counties borders and highways to check for illegal immigrants who are in the United States without proper documentation or green cards or other legal papers . It is about time our government starts toughening up the law on illegal immigration codes.I am beginning to notice more changes according to our local news stations like KCCO 11 News. I think we are starting to get a grip on the immigration reform here in Colorado somewhat . No it is not perfect yet.But I can tell it is starting to work . We need to keep enforcing this in our state more and more .Good Job To our Local lawenforcement agencies in the state of Colorado. Keep Up The Good Work .

These poor people getting picked on. No papers. It must have been profiling. Someone from Boulder should go back their mouth up.
