MESA COUNTY, (Colo.) - According to authorities, a couple pulled into an area off Little Park Road to watch fireworks late Sunday night when their car caught fire.
BLM Park Rangers responded, and said they're not sure what caused the car to catch fire, but it could have been sparks from the car that ignited brush, which in turn caught fire to the underside of the car.
The driver was cited for traveling off-road in a National Park.
Glade Park and BLM firefighters responded. The car was deemed a total loss.
