FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Attorney Steve Zansberg says Larimer County prosecutors have to release the information because the boy has been formally charged. He is charged with manslaughter in the death of 17-year-old Audra Brownell of Sparta, Mich.
She was in Estes Park in June when a rock from a cliff in an open space fell on her.
Zansberg also says the usual protections for juvenile suspects don't apply because the charge is a felony.
Prosecutors tell The Coloradoan they believe they can withhold the information.
