"Suspicious" house fire in Clifton
Authorities say a a house fire in Clifton is suspicious in nature.

CLIFTON, Colo. (KKCO) - Clifton Assistant Fire Chief Greg Martin
says a fire is suspicious.

Just before 10:00 Wednesday night, Clifton firefighters were called to 157 3rd Street on reports of flames coming from the home.

Authorities say someone could have broken into the home and intentionally set the fire.

Early damage estimates indicate the fire caused about $40,000, but that number could rise.
