Temperatures expected to be in the teens for GJ Turkey Trot

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Even though blizzard conditions have expired throughout the state, the bitterly cold temperatures will remain in Grand Junction for the 4th Annual Grand Junction Fire Department Turkey Trot.

The sun is expected to shine throughout the day, but temperatures will struggle to reach the teens in the afternoon.

Denver is also below freezing, but no snow is expected.

The sun is expected to shine in the Grand Valley through Saturday.

The Turkey Trot begins at 9:00am at 2497 Power Road in Grand Junction. Registration begins at 7:15am. The trot benefits the Grand Junction Fire Department Local 2808.
