MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) - This food festival will be held at Two Rivers Convention Center on Monday, February 7, 2011, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

The event features booths offering food and beverage samples provided by the Grand Valley’s finest Restaurants, Caterers and Food Vendors. Valuable door prize packages will be offered each hour throughout the event.

New this year: The Culinary Corner Stage, featuring cooking demonstrations from local chefs and Western Colorado Community College students, as well as product demos from locally owned Culinary Corner, which will take place throughout the length of the event.

Also new this year: the United Way of Mesa County Restaurant Gift Card half price sale. At the United Way booth, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase gift cards donated by local restaurants at the half price value. All proceeds will go directly to United Way of Mesa County and its fundraising efforts for this year’s annual fundraising campaign.

Proceeds for the entire event will benefit the United Way of Mesa County. To date, United Way has raised around $960,000 of its $1.2Million dollar goal, in the current annual campaign. All donations made in Mesa County to United Way stay right here in Mesa County.

Awards will be presented to exhibitors in four categories: Best Theme, Best Taste, Best Beverage and Best of Show.

Adnvance Admission is $13.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors and students with IDs and $6.00 for children

Tickets are available at all City Market and Enstrom’s stores, Mesa Mall Guest Services, Cumulus Broadcasting, Home Loan State Bank, and the United Way of Mesa County offices.

Tickets at the door will be $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $7 for children. Also, blocks of 25 or more tickets are available through the United Way office for $10.00 each.
