KKCO 11 News is accepting applications for a full-time Weekend Anchor/Reporter.
Our Number 1 news operation needs a mature and experienced talent to anchor and fill in produce the weekend news and report three days a week. You need to have experience in writing, shooting and editing news stories. In a new media world, the right candidate will embrace new technology and be able to work in a multi-platform setting.
The successful candidate will demonstrate solid news judgment. We need someone who possesses on-air experience and has abilities in the areas of aggressive live coverage, new media and social media. Candidate must be highly motivated, versatile, able to handle pressure, meet deadlines and have a positive attitude.
Familiarity with INews and Sony Vegas editing technology is a plus but not required. We prefer a candidate with a four-year journalism degree.
