Job Title: Master Control Operator
Expected Hours: Variable
Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate upon experience
Description of Duties:
- Monitor 24/7/365 broadcast operations including on-air and webcasts
- Coordinate acquisition and segmentation of news, program, and commercial feeds
- Encode and segment creative commercial and promotional content
- Assist with live news production as requested by the director
- Report any system discrepancies in a daily log
Preferred Skills: Prior professional experience in the master control, traffic, and production areas of a broadcast station.
Required Skills: Computer literacy in office administrative software; i.e. Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Professional, communicative, highly motivated, detail oriented, consistent, reliable, and focused individual traits.
