A product of local schools and graduate of Central High, Max Smith
began his broadcasting career in 1960 at KDTA-Am, Delta, Colorado.
Having served the majority of his career in news departments at six
broadcast properties, Max joined KKCO-TV in 2000 as Account Executive.
Besides the immediate Grand Junction trade area, his sales territory
also includes Delta and Montrose counties.



Max likes to tell his customers, "I'm always as close as 234-1565."
