Student Of The Week

This Week’s Grand Valley Power Student of the Week is a science whiz who says he can see himself working for NASA one day. Grand Junction High’s Chris Adams is well versed is all aspects of science.
The senior plans to attend Cornell University in New York and major in either astro-physics, chemistry or astronomy. Last week Chris used his broad range of knowledge to lead Grand Junction High’s Academic Team to a state victory. In June the team will compete in Nationals. Last year Grand Junction High’s Academic Team placed fifth at Nationals.
That’s the highest a public school has ever ranked.
