Delta Street Fair

Date(s): 5/10/2014

10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Delta, Colorado
When was the last time you strolled along Delta’s beautiful Main Street? This Saturday, May 10, is the perfect chance to reacquaint yourself with your hometown. Grab a cup of coffee or breakfast. Take the time to meander through the stores and rediscover what Delta merchants have to offer.

Along your route, make sure to stop by the first Second Saturday Street Fair on West Third Street, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. There, vendors will be lined up with products and services ready to meet your every need. Mother’s Day gift? We’ll have it. Graduation gift? We’ll have those too. Just need a fun place to hang out with the family? Then the street fair is the place for you.

Vendors will have everything from handmade soaps and beauty products to handbags, Christian books, arts and crafts, pottery and more. Stylists from Beyond the Salon will be on hand giving massages, haircuts and facial waxing.

Don’t forget to stop by the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce booth, for free T-shirts and free Grand Junction Rockies baseball cards and team photos, while supplies last.

While you enjoy the vendors, you’ll enjoy Take Five, a classic jazz and blues band based in Delta, which will take the stage from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Take Five – comprised of Toby King, Lane Anderson, Robin Nicholoff, Mike Kern and Andrew Bruington – play jazz that is easy to listen to without being smooth and sappy. They play works by Dave Brubeck, John Coltraine, Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis, the Blues Brothers, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and more.

Vendor spots are still available by visiting www.DeltaColorado.org and looking under the Events tab, or by calling the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce at 874-8616. The street fairs are made possibly by a sponsorship from the City of Delta.

See you at the street fair!
