Moab is well-known for its national parks, wild raft trips and beautiful scenery. There is also some rock art that were left behind by the Fremont, Utes and even Archaic cultures. Admission is $60 for members and $65 for non-members.
A Walk Through Time

Colorado National Monument Visitor Center
Colorado National Monument will host its third community wide “A Walk Through Time” event on Sunday, August 28, 2011. From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the public is invited to walk, stroll, jog or bike along 14 miles of Rim Rock Drive without motorized traffic. A family parade will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to and from the Visitor Center to Otto’s Trail (1 mile roundtrip). Festive costumes are encouraged. Canine friends will be welcome, but must stay on a 6-foot (or shorter) leash at all times and remain on paved areas.
