Raw Foods Vegan Potluck

Everyone is welcome to attend. Local author, Rhonda Dunlap - 'Guide to Super Raw Foods' will give a brief talk on 'Why Raw Foods are Hot!' and demo 'How to Make Water Kefir'.
For the potluck, bring a vegan raw foods dish - free of animal products - to serve eight. New at this? Bring some-thing as simple as cut up fruits or veggies, or check out recipes at http://www.raw-food-diet-magazine.com/raw-food-recipes.html. Bring the recipe with all ingredients listed, your own place setting, and beverage. There is no charge.

Fruita Farmers Market
Every Saturday, June 28 – September 20, 2014
Civic Center, 325 East Aspen Avenue, Fruita, CO
Fruita will be kicking off the 2014 Fruita Farmer’s Market season on Saturday, June 28th with vendors and artisans selling fresh local produce, baked goods, honeys, soaps and more. This free event runs every Saturday this summer through September 20th from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm at Civic Center Park in Fruita.
June’s Fruita Fall Festival Centennial event will be held during the first market day on June 28th and will be feature old-fashioned fair games for the entire family. There will also be a kiddie train in the Civic Center parking lot.
Each market will also provide live entertainment. Peggy Malone, “the Little Girl with the Big Voice” and western music artist, will provide some fun boot-stompin’, toe-tappin’ entertainment for our kick-off Market.
Vendor space is still available for vendors offering either regional produce or unique, handmade product lines.

The Fourth-Annual Alpine Insurance Agency Ed Fest, brought to Edwards by the team at Crazy Mountain Brewery, celebrates international craft beer culture with over 40 craft breweries tasting microbrews from around the world. Ed Fest promises summer fun for the whole community with gourmet bites from local restaurants and food trucks, wares from Colorado purveyors, and live music by the nationally-renowned North Mississippi Allstars. Ed Fest benefits the Eagle Valley Land Trust.
