Awakening Your Soul with SoulCollage
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Two Rivers Center for Spiritual Living (251 Colorado Avenue, Grand Junction, CO)
Come learn about the simple, creative, intuitive process of SoulCollage. Participants will create up to 10 SoulCollage cards using images from recycled magazines. Then by entering into personal 'conversation' with the completed cards participants will be invited to explore possibilities for awakening and nourishing their souls. We spend a lot of time thinking and rationalizing our way through this information-filled world. This workshop is a chance to tend to an equally important part of our intelligence - our souls. This part of us expresses in ways that are often beyond words, beyond reason. This soul part of us reveals itself in mysterious ways such as through dreams, synchronicities, longings, images. It is our souls that understand music, poetry, art, nature. This is powerful work and play. SoulCollage can be helpful in revealing passions, evolving change, addressing wounded parts of ourselves, connecting more deeply with others and our world. All of these are ways to nourish our deepest soul parts.
What is awakening in your soul? Is it a deep longing? Creativity? A desire for connecting with others? A need for change or healing? The possibilities are endless!
Cost: $40 Advanced registration requested to ensure adequate supplies.
Includes light lunch, and all materials and supplies. Participants are invited to bring snacks and their favorite scissors. Participants may also bring personal photos or recyclable magazines to include in their collages.
