FMHS NHS Trick or Treat for Cans

Grand Junction, Fruita
Each Halloween, the NHS collects canned goods/non-perishables to give to four local food banks (Apgape in Fruita, Food Bank of the Rockies, Catholic Outreach, and Homeward Bound homeless shelter). Last year we collected just over 4,000 cans; our goal this year is 4,500.

If you would like to contribute some cans from your pantry, just leave them on your doorstep Halloween evening. Members of Fruita Monument NHS will be traveling around various neighborhoods in Grand Junction and Fruita and "trick or treating" for cans between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. We'd appreciate any help we can get!

4th Annual SURVIVE Fashion Show

DoubleTree Hotel
$35 General Admission
Started in 2010, by Brandi and Bonnie Eaton with ANEWU Salon the Survive Fashion Show was originally created to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Research. In 2012, ANEWU Salon partnered with the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation to raise funds locally for cancer survivorship. All proceeds benefit St. Mary’s Cancer Survivorship Program. We know that the end of treatment is not the end of the cancer experience. The Cancer Survivorship Program is an essential component in helping to ensure the long-term health and quality-of-life for cancer survivors in western Colorado.
