The Wildlife Experience will have 2 shows at 11:30am and 1:30pm with School Programs Coordinator, Erin Kendall. Erin will be bringing snakes, sugar gliders, hissing cockroaches and a tarantula just to name a few of her "pets". As an added bonus, the Thelma and Flash Hedgehog Rescue will be here with these unique mammals that are survivors from the time of the dinosaurs.

Sleeping Beauty Dance

This annual event presents an opportunity to bring the whole family out for a day of education and entertainment with Marc Straub of “Cool Science”. He will do 2 shows at 12:00pm and 2:00pm and will be here from 11am-4pm with hands on activities in-between shows. Two kids age 12 and under will be admitted FREE with each paid regular adult admission.

Colorado Mesa University's Children's Harvest Festival
Colorado Mesa University's Academic Classroom Building
Colorado Mesa University Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) is hosting a Children's Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Harvest Festival will be held at Colorado Mesa University's Academic Classroom Building, which is located at the corner of Elm and Houston avenues. The festival will run from 5-8 p.m. The price is $5.00 per child; admission is free for accompanying adults.
The Children's Harvest Festival is a safe, fun, and controlled environment for families with children between ages 3-12. The festival will include a crawl maze, ring toss, a ghost buster’s game, arts and crafts, cakewalk, and much more!

The Fantasy Forest Entertainment Co., presents a playful puppet workshop at the DRC. See a lively puppet theater show and learn how to be a puppeteer yourself, creating your own bag puppet. Have even more fun when you get to put on a puppet show using what you’ve learned, your handmade puppet and the puppet theater. Be sure to wear your best Halloween costume for the costume contest that takes place at 3pm right after the workshop. There will be prizes and lots of Halloween fun.

Come out with your handgun and 100 rounds of ammunition (no magnums) and shoot four courses of fire as an individual and/or sign up with two others to form a 3 person team and compete with local law enforcement and other local friends.
There will be Cowboy, USPSA and IDPA shooters running side shoots where you can shoot your guns. There will be loaner guns to borrow and try out for a separate fee plus ammo.
Many of your local law enforcement officers will be there to compete and to assist the public with their shooting. No experience is necessary as coaching will be provided. Come for a fun time, bring your family see how you stack up against local law enforcement and help PARTNERS help our kids.
