Festive Foods! Vegan Potluck

Vegan Life Colorado, Grand Junction Branch, invites everyone to attend a Festive Foods! Vegan Potluck, Sat. Dec. 20, gather 5:30, eat at 6:00 at the Community Room at Lakeside, 3150 Lakeside Drive, Grand Junction.


For potluck, bring a vegan bring a vegan snack or appetizer - free of animal products - to serve eight. New at this? Bring something as simple as cut up fruits or veggies, or check out recipes at http://www.delectableplanet.com/ or http://www.veganseatwhat.com/ Bring the recipe with all ingredients listed, your own place setting, and beverage. There is no charge.


Whether you, a friend, or family member is exploring the exciting possibilities of becoming vegan, or if you are a seasoned vegan looking for new recipes, vegan facts, or interested in sharing community – there’s something here for everyone. All are welcome!

Montrose Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving in Montrose has been celebrated in the old-fashioned way for over 20 years...complete turkey meal with homemade pie; local entertainment and great door prizes; a game room for the children and plenty of neighborly conversation.

National Pancake Day

IHOP
Since beginning it's National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised 13 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates. On March 4th, 2014 from 7:00am to 10:00pm, guests from around the country will once again celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP and will receive a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes*. In return for the free pancakes, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals or other designated local charities. Donations received at IHOP of Grand Junction 2420 US 6 & 50 (MESA MALL) will go to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Members of the Western Colorado Shrine Club will be there throughout the day. WCSC Clowns will entertain the kids with balloons. Please come out, enjoy a meal at IHOP and support the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Last year our store raised $2,807.00. Lets try and beat that goal this year.
