Debate Watch Parties

We are Berning up with excitement!!! We have a great way to show your support for Bernie locally. There is not 1, not 2, but 3! Berning Hot Debate Watch parties going on and you are invited to take your pick of which one you'd like to attend. We should have awesome Bernie buttons and t-shirts available. All events are on Tuesday, October 13, from 6-9 p.m.

Come enjoy a cold beer and a hot debate! We are having a debate watch party at Old Chicago to see Bernie blow everyone out of the water with his insight into issues that matter! One Bernie t-shirt will be given away each hour. Everyone welcome! Let's have fun and support Bernie!

Pro-Life Night

Colorado Mesa University, Grand Junction
A nationally recognized pro-life speaker, Abby Johnson, will be at Colorado Mesa University in conclusion to a week-long event on campus. The event was started by two Palisade High School students, Melita Pawlowski and Katie Duncan, and has grown into a project that is supported by Mesa County Right to Life, Grand Valley Students for Life, Mesa Catholic Campus Ministries and Hope Haven Foundation. Abby Johnson will be speaking about her prior involvement with Planned Parenthood, abortion alternatives and pro-life issues as a whole. Student and community members alike are invited to attend this free event.

Affordable Care Act Day of Action

The general plan for the ACA Day of Action is to assemble at Congressman Scott Tipton's Grand Junction office on Wednesday April 23rd and present him with the best statistics we can gather on ACA Signups in Mesa County and in the 3rd Congressional District and have some validators with success stories of how they were helped by gaining coverage through the ACA and ask Tipton why he continues to work against his constituents in voting a ridiculous number of times to overturn the ACA.

Pro-Life Candlelight Vigil

Old County Courthouse (6th and Rood), Grand Junction
A pro-life Candlelight Vigil and Walk for Life will take place on Thursday, January 23rd, at 5:30 p.m. at the Old County Courthouse (6th and Rood). The vigil will remember the more than 55 million lives lost to abortion since the 1973 Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision.
