Pro-Life Candlelight Vigil
Old County Courthouse (6th and Rood), Grand Junction
A pro-life Candlelight Vigil and Walk for Life will take place on Thursday, January 23rd, at 5:30 p.m. at the Old County Courthouse (6th and Rood). The vigil will remember the more than 55 million lives lost to abortion since the 1973 Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision. $20/person if you preregister, due by Oct. 3rd, or $25 the day of the event.
We encourage individuals as well as teams to sign up!
The proceeds of this 5K walk are used for breast cancer awareness, education, detection, and support for men and women in Mesa County. All proceeds stay in Mesa County. Beginning this year, JSL will also donate money to the St. Mary’s Hospital Survivorship Program, which provides assistance to survivors of all types of cancer.
1st Annual Grand Junction Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk

This 3K and 5K walk is to raise awareness of scleroderma and raise funds for research to find the cause and cure of this disease and for support of Chapter programs. Walkers are encouraged to form teams to walk with their family and friends and create fundraising pages at our online registration website at www.scleroderma.org/steppingoutgrandjunction.
