Walk for Freedom

Lincoln Park playground - shelter area. The walk will start and end at this location covering about 3 miles.
The A21 campaign is an organization seeking to end human trafficking in the 21st Century. A21 has asked women across the country to organize walks to raise awareness of the organization and the plight of 27 million individuals currently held captive.

This 5k walk/run is a family event to celebrate music, the Band and all of the kids who work so hard to keep the pride going! Proceeds to benefit the Montrose High School Band and Gurad!

Each participant will receive:

Full course support with water and fruit
Finish Line Food: Meant to replenish your energy stores quickly - water, fruit and other snacks
Unique cotton t-shirt so you can show your support of the Montrose Marching Band

DreamCatcher Half Marathon

Botanical Gardens, Grand Junction, CO
Join us in beautiful Western Colorado for the second annual DreamCatcher Half Marathon. Following the Riverfront Trail along the Colorado River, you'll get to experience the views that the locals brag about - the Colorado National Monument, The Grand Mesa and the Bookcliffs. This event is geared to every level of participant - to the first-timer to the seasoned half marathon runner - there's something for everyone.

Our goal is to get EVERYONE happily to the finish line - through cheer and encouragement stations, ample aid stations, pacers and the ultimate reward - a unique finisher's medal that you will be proud to show off.

All runners will receive a gender-specific technical t-shirt. However, anyone registered AFTER December 31, 2014 will not be guaranteed their requested shirt size.

We encourage individuals as well as teams to sign up!

The proceeds of this 5K walk are used for breast cancer awareness, education, detection, and support for men and women in Mesa County. All proceeds stay in Mesa County. Beginning this year, JSL will also donate money to the St. Mary’s Hospital Survivorship Program, which provides assistance to survivors of all types of cancer.
