GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A big change coming this weekend as the sun moves out and clouds and chance of rain moves in.

Friday will once again be sunny and warm with some clouds developing late with a slight chance of scattered showers for surrounding areas.

Rock Jam kicks off Friday under sunny skies and temperatures slightly above normal. Look for temperatures to climb into the low 90s with scattered clouds developing later in the day.

Can't rule out a slight chance that sprinkle or two could quickly move through the area but the day will be mostly sunny. Temperatures will cool down to the lower 70s by the time Heart takes the stage at 10 p.m. under partly cloudy skies.

Partly cloudy skies will start off your Rock Jam Saturday when the gates open at noon but clouds will increase shortly there after with a chance of rain starting early. A 30 percent chance of showers will continue throughout the day as mostly cloudy skies keep temperature a bit cooler than Friday. By 10 p.m. when Alice Cooper takes the stage, temperatures will be in the upper 60s with the continued 30 percent chance of rain.

Fruita's farmer's market will kick off at 8 a.m. Saturday under partly sunny skies and a temperature around 69 degrees. Clouds will increase throughout the day and a thirty percent chance of rain will develop early and last through the rest of the day. The temperature will be around 80 degrees by the end of of the market at noon under mostly cloudy skies.

Palisade's Sunday market will start at 10 a.m. under partly sunny skies and a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms. The temperature will be around 73 at the start of the event and warm up to the lower 80s by early afternoon. The chance of rain will taper off to 20 percent shortly after lunch and hold steady for the rest of the day.
