GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Friday will once again be sunny and warm as temperatures top out a few degrees higher than the seasonal average, at around 93.

Clouds will develop late and carry over into the night as an increased chance of showers will develop early in the day on Saturday. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will move into the area late Friday afternoon with the best chance in the higher elevations.

Saturday will start off with a few more clouds than on Friday and temperatures a little closer to the upper-80 average. Look for a chance of showers and thunderstorms to develop early an increase throughout the day along with the cloud cover. The chance of rain will be 30 percent. The Grand Valley will be under mostly cloudy skies shortly after lunch and will stick around for the entire day and into the night along with the chance of rain.

Sunday will start off a little cloudy with an increased chance of rain that will slowly taper off throughout the day. With the day starting off cloudy look for temperatures to only climb into the mid-eighties as the chance of rain tapers off shortly after lunch. The chance of rain will drop to around twenty percent and continue throughout the rest of the day.
