Grand Junction,CO(KKCO)-The forecast looks good for this weekend all over the Western Slope. Cooler temperatures will start off the weekend but lots of sun will fill the sky. Daytime highs on Friday will be five to ten degrees below the seasonal normal.
The Grand Valley will gradually get warmer as the weekend goes along and the sun will continue to dominate. Higher elevations could see overnight temperatures near freezing for Friday night and gradually climbing over the next few days. Winds will be calm and clouds should be scarce throughout this weekend. Temperatures will top out closer to normal on Saturday as sun and calm winds fill the day. Sunday will get even warmer as Grand Junction looks to climb to a few degrees above normal.
