Grand Valley in store for a perfect Sunday

Grand Junction, CO(KKCO)-After an unseasonably cool Friday night the Grand Valley rebounded nicely with temperatures just a few degrees shy of the average. We'll continue the warm up into Sunday as skies will remain clear and wind light. The cold front the brought the rain on Wednesday and wind on Thursday will continue to push east and drag the moisture and clouds with it.

Sunday will start off cool as overnight lows will once again be on the chilly side, mid 40's for the valley and around 40 for Montrose. Things will warm up quickly as the sun will shine through a clear sky. A few scattered cloud are expected in the late afternoon but will probably go unnoticed as temperatures will climb into the mid-80's by late afternoon.

Expect the same conditions as we start our workweek, temperatures will continue to climb into the upper-80's and stay into midweek. Expect a few more clouds as the week progresses but conditions will still be mostly sunny. Temperatures will slowly drop back down to around seasonal average by weeks end as skies clear out for the weekend.
